Our Story
Kingsway Podiatry has been established for over 20 years and has continued to evolve and grow during this time. We have enjoyed a healthy relationship with local GP's, allied health professionals and orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons who have continued their support with ongoing referrals.
We place great emphasis on a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment for our patients. We also offer proven alternative treatment options such as Foot Mobilisation Techniques (FMT) and Western Medical Acupuncture (dry needling).
There has also been a strong referral base from Medical Officers of the Australian Defence Force and we have been privileged to provide services to current ADF personnel and also returned service men and women through the Department Of Veterans' Affairs.
For the convenience of our patients, all of our team of podiatrists have Medicare provider numbers which allow rebates directly from private health funds, Department of Veterans' Affairs and Medicare. For your convenience, we have HICAPS facilities for payment by direct credit, credit card and claiming rebates directly from health funds.
What Sets Us Apart
University-trained podiatrists
Every practitioner at Kingsway Podiatry holds a university degree and is registered with AHPRA. We are active members of the Australian Podiatry Association.
Alternative therapies available
Several of our podiatrists hold additional qualifications in Foot Mobilisation Techniques and Western Medical Acupuncture, giving patients access to treatment options beyond standard care.
Defence and veteran care
We welcome eligible veterans and war widows. Both Gavin Garton and Chris Mitchell are authorised DVA footwear prescribers.
On-the-spot claiming
Our HICAPS terminal lets you claim private health rebates immediately. We also accept Medicare EPC referrals and DVA Gold and White Cards.
Local and long-standing
We have been part of the northern suburbs community for over two decades. For more than 5 years we have operated from our own premises at 2 Gorman St, Greenwood.
